The Windsor Knot

In the early spring of 2016, preparations are underway at Windsor Castle for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday festivities, only to be halted by the shocking and premature death of a guest in one of the Castle’s bedrooms. The scene leads some to believe that the young Russian pianist took his own life, but a clumsily tied knot arouses MI5’s suspicions of wrongdoing. When they mistakenly turn their attention to the Household’s most devoted servants, the Queen knows they’re missing the mark.

Since her youth, Queen Elizabeth has been living a sort of double life as “Lilibet.” Far from public scrutiny and unknown even to those closest to her, she possesses an extraordinary aptitude for unraveling mysteries.

Alongside her Assistant Private Secretary, Rozie Oshodi, a British Nigerian officer recently assigned to the Royal Horse Artillery, the Queen covertly commences her inquiry. Fulfilling her royal responsibilities with customary grace, nobody in the Royal Household, government, or the wider public suspects that the unflinching Elizabeth will employ her sharp eyes, agile mind, and unwavering resolve to see a killer brought to justice.
