The Stranger Diaries

Clare Cassidy, a high school English teacher, specializes in the works of R. M. Holland, a gothic writer. She’s particularly engrossed by Holland’s story “The Stranger.”

Clare’s life takes a horrifying turn when a colleague is found murdered with a note from Holland’s tale beside the body. As the police investigate, it appears the killer might be someone Clare knows.

Seeking solace and a space for her thoughts, Clare writes in her personal diary. But her anxiety spikes when she discovers unfamiliar handwriting in her journal with a message: “Hallo Clare. You don’t know me.”

As events unfold, Clare begins to fear that the story is becoming all too real. The lines between fiction and reality blur as Clare races to prevent another tragedy. The novel is a thrilling blend of mystery and gothic horror, examining the dark sides of stories and those who pen them.
